A collection of letters, most to Bleecker, and his business associate Theodore Sedgwick. The letters discuss a wide variety of business, personal and diplomatic affairs. The papers discuss topics such as obtaining credentials for visiting Americans, business contracts, land dealings, personal matters such as travel and health and a number of other topics. Correspondents include Sterling Goodenow, William Jay, Edward G. Ludlow, Josiah Quincy, and Benjamin F. Butler. The collection also includes a copy of Bleecker's last will and testament.
